Energy Centers

For thousands of years, various Eastern traditions have passed down a belief in 'wheels of light', or chakras, that transmit enlightened vibrations. There is a new movement to "de-mystify" the chakras, teaching how each one corresponds with a major gland or set of glands in the anatomy of the body. While chakras are described in Unified Light as energy centers and orbitals, the chakras as Pranic centers and glands (endocrine system) may be studied through Yoga.

Energy is described as Prana in Yogic philosophy and as Qi in Acupuncture meridian theory or Yin Yoga. You can use an ohm-meter (used by engineers to measure circuit components, for example), to find many Acupuncture points on the body! This is because these areas have lower levels of electrical resistance.

Becoming more in touch with these areas of the body can affect daily living. You may embrace a more scientific endocrine perspective, or a more spiritual view. Unified Light describes an emotional guidance system that includes but is not limited to the associated moments of enlightenment listed below.
